
IT’S ALIIIIVE. So many bubbles! Today is the first day of doing “discards” and feedings which I’ll be doing from now on. You can actually use the discard for some recipes so I put it in a different jar and put it in the fridge so I’ll try to find some other recipes I can use it for. I read you can only keep this for about 3 weeks though so I wrote the date on the jar.

I discarded half of the starter so about 120g. Then I replenish it with another feeding by doing 60g of bread flour and 60g filtered water.

You can see in the photo that the mixture rose and fell which is super cool to see! It’ll do this every day.
